Dr. Meisel will present “an interactive discussion of brief and hopefully thought provoking ideas about life.”

He comes well prepared for this challenge. Dr. Meisel, who is a member of our fellowship, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with more than 30 years of experience work with clients from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. He also works with adolescents and young adults on recovery from substance abuse.

Meisel earned a master’s degree through a grant from the New Jersey Division of Narcotics and Drug Abuse and a doctorate in community agency counseling from Auburn University. He has taught graduate students and provided psychotherapy and career counseling to students during 10 years at Columbus State University. In 2000, he established Columbus Counseling Services to provide quality mental health services at affordable prices.
