John Tures

This month’s meeting features John Tures, a political science professor at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia. Dr. Tures has published articles on international politics, foreign policy, terrorism, American government and other topics in a variety of newspapers, online publications and journals, including the Journal of Peace Research, Homeland Security Affairs and the Journal of American Studies. He will discuss the importance of, and how to continue to build a civil society.

  • How to engage in conversation with Trump supporters, leaners and independents.
  • How to write effective letters to our members of Congress and newspapers when it seems like no one is listening.
  • Brainstorming activities we can promote to engage our local community.
A short Indivisible  meeting will follow to update members on upcoming events, highlights of our current legislation and where our focus will be going forward.

If you are able to join, please RSVP by replying to this email. OR finding the event on our Facebook page and click GOING.
