Longtime mindfulness teacher Joan Andras teaches this course, which includes the study of Buddhist psychology and philosophy. Members of the public are welcome.
Calm Abiding Meditation meets Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., from Oct. 28 through Dec. 16, with the exception of Nov. 25 (the Saturday after Thanksgiving). The course WILL NOT MEET THAT DAY. The free course will be held in our Meeting House on our Heiferhorn Way campus. (Joan will pass the hat for small donations to help defray the Fellowship’s costs.)
The course will be in an “open format,” which means you can come for any or all sessions. Participants will use the book The Buddhist Path: A Practical Guide from the Nyingma Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. This is the school of Buddhism that Joan studies, and the Tibetan teachers who ordained her wrote the book.
