Romanian guitarist Dragos Ilie will perform at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Columbus on Sunday, Jan. 28. The free concert begins at 4:30 p.m.
Ilie is a student at the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University, studying under Professor Andrew Zohn. In 2015, Ilie received the Woodruff Scholar grant, a prestigious four-year stipend offered for study at the CSUy.
Ilie also has earned earned awards at international guitar festivals, including the Transylvania Guitar Festival, the Koblenz International Guitar Festival, the Appalachian Guitar Fest, the Troy Guitar Festival, the University of Louisville Guitar Festival and Competition. Most recently he performed at the Columbus Guitar Symposium.
