This Sunday’s talk: “Lifetime Fitness”

The subtitle of guest speaker Kenneth Hoats’ presentation is “Taking Care of Ourselves Mentally, Physically and Spiritually.” Join us Sunday morning to find out more. Visitors are always welcome.

Kenneth Hoats of West Point, Ga., is a counselor, a consultant and a frequent speaker on mental health and “attitudinal topics.” He has 30 years of experience working with families, in schools and for businesses and organizations. He’s also a University of Georgia graduate, a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in West Point and “primarily a husband and father.”

Our services on Sundays are centered on talks like Kenneth’s. They also include music (though the choir is on break for two weeks), a little meditation and other activities to replenish the spirit for the week ahead. Unitarian Universalists welcome people from all faiths and ethical traditions—bound together by a commitment to a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. UUs have been around for 500 years. Our roster includes U.S. presidents, philosophers, writers, musicians, activists and many others.
