Unitarian Universalists support each other in their own unique and responsible searches for truth and meaning. With that in mind, Nick will talk about finding meaning during the current crisis. He’s a native of Augusta, Ga., and a 2017 graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Ga. Nick was a reporter for The Shreveport Times in Louisiana before moving to Columbus in 2019.

Here’s how Nick described his new job: “I’ll be painting a picture of what daily life is like for the residents of Columbus, Georgia, and the southern United States. If it’s about the effect various state and federal policies have on the people of this region, cool southern stories rooted in history or where to get a damn good biscuit, I’ll probably write about it.”

Nick also is a friend of our UU Fellowship.

The UUFC campus on Heiferhorn Way is closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19, but our Sunday morning services are available on our UUFC YouTube channel.

Our Wednesday Night Discussions and Friday Lunch Group are meeting live, via Zoom videoconferencing. Email Bill Harlan for details at [email protected] with “Zoom question” in the subject line.
