The Seventh Principle of Unitarian Universalism calls for “respect for the interdependent web of all existence”—in other words, caring for ourselves, our fellow creatures and the planet. Hal Midgette will talk about how the idea of interdependence entwined with the theme Merlin Sheldrake’s popular book, Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds.
Please join us Sunday, April 18, for our first ever service in our Meditation Garden (outdoors, masked and socially distant). It’s a wonderful place to get in the right frame of mind for Earth Day on April 22.
Our services start promptly at 10:30 a.m. and last a little less than an hour. Guests are always welcome. Do bring a mask and observe social distancing.
Our speaker this coming Sunday is Hal Midgette, who also is president of our Fellowship. Hal had careers as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army and as a high school science teacher. He’s also our Fellowship’s master landscaper and the architect of the Meditation Garden.
We do offer our outdoor services on Zoom, for those not ready to meet in person, and if the weather is bad the service will be on Zoom only. Members and friends can watch for an email mid-day on Saturday, when we’ll make a weather decision. If you’re not on our email list, watch this page or email us at [email protected].
Meanwhile, here’s how to join us on Zoom.
