John Land is a long-time member of our Fellowship, whose personal interests include theater, history and the evolution of modern faith traditions. His previous talks have been “Wicca,” “The New Post-COVID Normal,” “Aloe for the Soul,” “Miss Manners Takes a Vacation” and “Social Darwinism.”
John has a couple of degrees in theater, and he works at the River Center. In 2016, he produced and directed Horton Foote’s play, “1918,” which takes place during the deadly pandemic of that year. (So maybe we should pay closer attention when John chooses a subject.) This Sunday, our first service of the year 2022, John explores a path forward during a time of change, uncertainty and stress. In his toolbox, he’ll have the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism.
We meet in person Sundays at 11 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Hall on our small campus on the banks for the Heiferhorn Creek in north Columbus. (We’re at 8827 Heiferhorn Way.) We welcome people of all faith traditions and ethical systems, as long as theses systems recognize and respect the dignity of all people.
Our motto: deeds before creeds.
