Ray Rankin: “Poetic Chaos”

The Third Principle of Unitarian Universalism calls us to encourage each other to spiritual growth. That’s what we’ll do this Sunday. We’ll encourage each other, inspired by Fellowship member Ray Rankin—a teacher, bicyclist and poet.

Ray will read some of his poems, chosen at random from his collection, The Rain After It’s Gone, and from his new, unpublished book. After each poem, Service Leader Bill Harlan will invite comments against the background of the Seven Principles of UU. Ray’s poems are short and personal. They’ll be chosen at random, on the theory that poetry, if it comes from the heart, is part of a transcendent search for meaning. Or is it? Let’s see! Join us Sunday for this poetic dive into the Third Principle.

We meet in person Sundays at 11 a.m., with safety measures in place (see below) in spacious Grace Fellowship Hall. Our campus on the banks for the Heiferhorn Creek, in north Columbus, at 8827 Heiferhorn Way.
