Reparations for the damages caused by slavery, Jim Crow oppressions and continuing racism are a central issue for the Unitarian Universalist Association, which is in the process of revising it’s principles, missions and sources of inspiration. Ron Ussery will a tackle some difficult questions.
Ron is a longtime member of our Fellowship, and a lifelong student of history, philosophy, economics and markets—including free markets, flea markets, Saturday markets and…well, lots of markets. He’s retired from careers in banking and teaching (or sort of retired), but he’s almost a full-time volunteer at our Fellowship, as our treasurer and as an unofficial building and maintenance director/worker.
