Our visiting UU minister, Marti Keller, will talk about “The Amen Effect,” a book that, in Marti’s words, “has caught fire with progressive clergy.” It’s easy to see why. The book’s subtitle is “Ancient Wisdom to Mend Our Broken Hearts and World.”
Visitors are always welcome at our progressive, liberal Fellowship. Sunday services begin at 11 a.m., but come early for coffee and conversation. We’re friendly, informal and nondenominational in the fullest sense of the word. Our informal motto is “deeds before creeds.”
Rev. Marti Keller lives in the Atlanta area. She’s been a Unitarian Universalist minister for more than 25 years, serving individual congregations, as a guest minister and in leadership roles with the Unitarian Universalist Association. She’s also an essayist, a poet and an activist for human rights.
If “mending our broken hearts and world” sounds like a plan to you, you’ll be welcome here. Services also include a little music, a little meditation, some readings and optional opportunities to share your thoughts. And we’re done by noon!
