Wednesday, Oct. 5
6 p.m. UU Singers practice. All voices welcome.
7 p.m. Wednesday Night Discussion Group. This week’s topic: “The Vice-Presidential Debate.”

Thursday, Oct. 6
7 p.m. “Exploring Spirituality.” The group discusses the role of spirituality in Unitarian Universalism.

Friday, Oct. 7
12 p.m. The UU Media Lunch Group meets at Caffe Amici. Retired journalists started this group to discuss current news media, but we’ve expanded both our membership and our topics. Joining the lunch group is simple: show up.

Sunday, Oct. 9
Childcare is available from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Visitors are always welcome.

9:30 a.m. Adult Religious Education. This week, another installment of “Building Your Own Theology” led by Rick Spradlin.
10:30 a.m. Coffee and conversation before the service.
10:45 a.m. Sunday service. This week, the Rev. Kim Minor from the Unitarian Universalist Church in Macon presents: “Accidents Happen: A Service for Yom Kippur.
10:50 a.m.Children’s Religious Education. The kids join us for the first few minutes of each service, which includes a children’s story. Then they adjourn to a classroom. This week they’ll explore the Fifth Principle of Unitarian Universalism, in lesson titled: “We believe all persons should have a vote about the things that concern them.”
