Unitarian Universalist fellowships and congregations share commitments to human rights and care for the planet, but they often have unique local traditions. Our UU Fellowship, founded in 1975, has a several such traditions. Dr. Joyce Hickson, who is updating our Fellowship’s history, will explore those traditions and how they shape the personality of our spiritual community.
Dr. Hickson has a PhD in counseling, and she has been licensed as a psychologist and professional counselor. She also served 16 years as a department chair of the Department of Counseling and Clinical Programs at Columbus State University. She retired there as assistant vice president for academic affairs.
