John Land is a long-time member of our Fellowship, whose personal interests include theater, history and the evolution of modern faith traditions. His previous talks have been “The New Post-COVID Normal,” “Aloe for the Soul,” “Miss Manners Takes a Vacation” and “Social Darwinism.”
John has a couple degrees in theater, and he works at the River Center. In 2016, he produced and directed Horton Foote’s play, “1918,” which he presented at Grace Fellowship Hall. His talk this Sunday falls on Halloween, so expect a little costuming. In fact, feel free to wear your own costume. (Extra credit for costumes related to the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism.)
We are meeting in person Sundays at 11 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Hall on our small campus on the banks for the Heiferhorn Creek in north Columbus. (We’re at 8827 Heiferhorn Way.) We welcome people of all faith traditions and ethical systems, as long as theses systems recognize and respect the dignity of all people.
Our motto: deeds not creeds.
