Keith Sims: “The Garden’s Most Important Lesson”

Keith Sims is the MercyMed farmer, who tends the medical system’s unique urban farm in Columbus. The farm’s mission is to promote good health and reduce food insecurity.

Keith says he “thoroughly enjoys digging in the soil.” He’s serious. Keith switched a careers, from the medical professional to urban farmer. He earned degree in biology from LaGrange College and a master’s degree in public health, and he also served a one-year apprenticeship at Jenny Jack Farm in Pine Mountain, GA.
