Unitarian Universalism emphasizes action rather than belief. This Sunday we’ll explore what that means within the framework of UU’s Seven Principles.
Lynn Norris, founder of ONE Harris County, will be our speaker. One of that organization’s projects is a memorial to honor Harry Gilbert, a Harris County farmer who was arrested without legal cause in 1947 and who died in a Harris County jail.
During this Sunday’s service we’ll celebrate the Fourth of July. We’re proud of our country and of our Unitarian Universalist heritage. (After all, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams were Unitarians.) Visitors are always welcome. And please stay after for burgers, hot dogs and lively conversation.
