Our visiting UU minister, Marti Keller, will talk about the practice of solitude. In this most busy, most noisy multi-holiday month of December, the state of purposeful solitude can have practical benefits.
Visitors are always welcome at our progressive, liberal Fellowship. Sunday services begin at 11 a.m., but come early for coffee and conversation. We’re friendly, informal and nondenominational in the fullest sense of the word. Our informal motto is “deeds before creeds.”
Rev. Marti Keller lives in the Atlanta area. She’s been a Unitarian Universalist minister for more than 25 years, serving individual congregations, as a guest minister and in leadership roles with the Unitarian Universalist Association. She’s also an essayist, a poet and an activist for human rights.
If practical tips for calming the spirit and finding peace during the holidays sounds interesting, join us to learn more. Our services also include a little music, a little meditation, some readings and optional opportunities to share your thoughts. And we’re done by noon!
