Lay Leader Rick Spradlin will lead this service by live Zoom videoconference at 11 a.m. His talk, “Clan of the Dead Sloth,” is about how we all find ways to contribute to the community.
We’ll open up the Zoom videoconference about 10:30 a.m. Do join us early because we’ll start on time. This link takes you there. Members and friends also will have received the link (and the Meeting ID and password, if you need them) in an email from Brenda Stevens. If you have a question, email her at [email protected].
(Note: Rick originally was scheduled to talk about what Buddhism and science can teach us about the universe. That talk has been rescheduled for Sunday, Dec. 13.)
Our goal is to return to in-person services when it’s possible to do that with an acceptably low risk. We haven’t reached that point yet, but our videoconferences have been keeping us together. If you haven’t tried it yet, please consider joining on.
In March we’ve been posting pre-recorded services and or recorded live services. You can watch these any time on our YouTube channel, but we’ve heard from members who miss the opportunity to gather together. That’s why we’re switching to live broadcasts.
Watch this space for more information about Rick’s talk this Sunday. If you have question or comment about live services on Zoom, send us an email at uufcga.gmail.com
