Benchmark Family Services is a network of professional, therapeutic foster homes and committed staff across four states, serving children in need. Benchmark provides stable care to youth in the least restrictive setting possible. The group’s mission is to give even the most troubled kids a second chance.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Columbus supports this mission. For example, on Dec. 2, 2017, members of our Fellowship, led by the Social Action Committee, delivered more than 30 duffel bags to provide comfort for children receiving services from Benchmark. The bags contained school supplies, personal  hygiene items, a blanket and, for the younger children, a stuffed toy.

The Social Action Committee sends a big “Thank you!” to members of our Fellowship who contributed time and resources to this project.
