Wednesday, August 3
7 p.m. Discussion group. This week “RNC/DNC Convention Review.” Should be lively. All opinions welcome.

Thursday, Aug. 4
7 p.m. Where Are We?, our new Unitarian Universalist spirituality group, discusses related topics.

Friday, Aug. 5
12:30 p.m. Unitarian Universalist Media Lunch at Caffe Amici in Columbus. This group was started by former journalists, but it’s open to anyone interested in discussing the events of the day and media coverage thereof. RSVP to Bill Harlan at 605 390-0590.

Sunday, Aug. 7
The first Sunday of each month is always Bring a Friend Day, and after the service, we share a covered-dish, potluck lunch. (Visitors and friends, just bring your appetite.) We also bring non-perishable foods for Feeding the Valley Food Bank on the first Sunday. Every Sunday, childcare is available from 9:30 a.m. to noon. 

9:30 a.m. Adult Religious Education.
10:30 a.m. Coffee, light refreshments and conversation.
10:45 a.m. Sunday service. This week’s speaker, Rick Spradlin, will present “The Challenge of Tolerance.”
10:50 a.m. Children join us for the first few minutes of the Sunday service, which includes a children’s story. Then they adjourn to a classroom. This week Kayla Spradlin will lead a kids program titled “Goals.”
